New Year’s Eve Cocktails

Happy New Year!

Our founder, Jonathan Pogash, appeared on a Facebook Live feed with WGBH – Boston’s NPR station – at the Boston Public Library in Copley Square.  Edgar B. Herwick III, host of WGBH’s “Curiosity Desk”, answered some most curious queries, and sampled some of Jonathan’s New Year’s Winter cocktails.

Winter in the Tropics
1 1/2 oz Van Gogh double espresso vodka
1 oz Somrus Indian cream liqueur
1/2 oz Passion fruit juice
1/2 oz pineapple juice
Method: Shake well with ice and strain into a martini glass.
Garnish: pineapple slice
Curiosity Sparkler
1 oz Tap 357 maple rye whisky
1 oz POM wonderful Pomegranate juice
1/2 oz fresh grapefruit juice
Sparkling wine (like Prosecco)
Method: Gently fold ingredients in a mixing glass with ice. Strain into a champagne flute.
Garnish: freshly grated nutmeg and long grapefruit peel and fresh mint
